Building Development Causes Controversy in Rancho Santa Fe

The Silvergate Development Project is causing controversy among residents in Rancho Santa Fe. The project aims to add 178 senior assisted living units that cover 476,329 sq. ft. and replace an abandoned building currently there. Residents fear the project will cause more traffic and noise and light pollution. The building is located on Calzada Del Bosque and Via De La Valle. A vote on the project will be held in October.
